These are the songs that we considered using for our music video:
Snuff - Slipknot
I considered this song as the song has a clear meaning behind it, however there is lots of room for interpretation in the making of the music video. It is also slow and melodic which would be easy to work with. the themes of the song are love, hate, depression and picking yourself back up.However we decided not to use this song as we felt like the potential final product would seem too generic as it would be the typical love song type video.
Our consideration for this song stemmed from it’s upbeat pace and it’s ability to be manipulated in a video, it could either be presented as the story of a romantic relationship or a parent child relationship, which opens the window to many ideas for the video.
